Convert 3D Block to 2D

Would someone please help convert the attached file from 3D to 2D? I only need the front view. I have tried Flatshot and Flatten with no success. Instructions on the proper approach are greatly appreciated!

Flatten will work, but because of the mesh density. it will take a long time to calculate.

Also, the result will have all the mesh lines on it.

It will be quicker and neater to go to a front view and trace round the objects, creating a clean line drawing.

@Anonymous ,

Consider using VIEWBASE (from Inventor) - this will create a base view from model space or Autodesk Inventor models.

You shouldn't spend more than a few minutes trying to use manufacturer's 3d CAD drawings for faucets that use polyface meshes.  What you get out will never be worth what you spend.  Often the specification files are already somewhat orthographic.  Download the pdf, scale it, and import the geometry or trace over it.  See attached. It has the basic shapes which you should be able to reorganize into views.
