Control + Right Click Not Working...

When one of our users holds Control and Right clicks, the menu that has things like "Mid Between 2 Points" isn't showing up.  Nothing's happening.  Anyone know what setting governs this?  Every time you search for it, it's all about the Right Click Menu not working at all, and that's not our issue.  Thanks!

shift + right click does the same thing. Does that bring up the menu?

Sorry, I forgot to note that...no, it's also not working.  It's basically just non-functional for that entire secondary right click menu, and I've done a fairly exhaustive search trying to find where it can be turned on or off.

Here's the knowledge base article for it. It says what the macro for the shortcut should say in the CUI, so that's something else to check.

Just checked, and yeah, that's what the macro says, exactly.  Still isn't working, though.  Frustrating, because it's something we all use a lot, but it's just not there.  I will also tell you that it's a new install of AutoCAD 2018.  Not sure what default setting wouldn't be active, though.

I found a few articles that said check the mouse drivers and what they are set too. Articles were pretty vague so they didn't say much more than just peek at them to make sure something isn't set to something crazy. Probably not much help.

You can try using a different profile from options and see if that fixes it. That would rule out mouse drivers too.

Try repairing autocad from control panel.

I saw a few articles on pickstyle making it not work correctly but I tested that and couldn't get any pickstyle settings to affect the menu any differently, so not sure what that has to do with it.

There is shortcutmenu variable. I believe even if that is set to show no menus the shift+right click menu will still work. I did however read that in an older 2006 article so it's possible that variable is different now and affects right click.   ShortCutMenu LINK

You could always set it back to defaults. That's usually my last resort if I can help it though.

Over the last couple days, I've gone through all this stuff...to no avail.  I think I'm at the reset to defaults option, but I plan to try one more thing first, which is similar:  Export my settings to their computers, and see if it works!  I think it will.  But it's a shame we couldn't find an actual system variable or something that works, and it's very hard to search, because everything seems to talk about the right click menu not working at all, and that works...just not that other menu you get when you hold control or shift.  I'll let you know how it goes!  Thanks for all the help so far!

You may have reset the mouse settings in your CUI. make sure BOTH command name and macro match
