Connection of AUTOCAD with Ms project/Gantt/Timeline

Hi there,

Is there any plugin or possibility to connect AUTOCAD with MS projoct professional/gantt Chart/timeline management?
I wanna show working on AUTOCAD with time management.

I would appreciate your assistance.

Cheers
Waseem

Hi @waseemulhasan,

Thank you for posting your question. I did not find anything in the Autodesk App Store for this, though Microsoft support may know of something available.

What exactly are you trying to track and manage within AutoCAD? Are you trying to track drawing content? For my current firm, the milestones and deliverables for each project and subsequent drawings are different and we just use an estimate to complete percentage for each stage of the drawing. For us these numbers are self reported by the relevant SME and not tied to actual drawing content (i.e. no need for connection to AutoCAD).

Hi there,

I appreciated your feedback.
Is there any possibility AUTOCAD could work as 4D?

Thanks

I imagine one could get AutoCAD to do it, but not without significant investment of time and money.

Look into Navis. You can do 4D there.
