Changing default save name

How can I change the default save name. Currently the default is whatever the projects name is. I want it to default to a number which will be an attribute in a block. Is this possible?

No such ability built into the program: you will need to customize with a macro or LISP.
Walk us through your commands of choice adn where you want this name to appear and maybe someone around here can get you started with a few lines of code.

Ok. I installed hanna batch plot. This allows me to automatically plot multiple blocks on one model and save them all at once as PDF's in a set location. But when it saves, the name is just "Layout-01" (current file name) etc. For each block we have a system that gives them different REQ numbers. This number is an attribute in the blocks, and I want the hanna batch plot to save them as that attribute number.

Based on a quick scan of the app, it looks like your wish would require a modification.
