Centerline Symbol AutoCAD 2014

Over the weekend my company went to Autocad 2014.  Now while using simplex text font whenever I insert a CL symbol in the mtext box it no longer matches the text.  Additonally it will not allow me to change the text font of the symbol.  Any ideas? Smiley Indifferent

Compare your Simplex.SHX from the old version with the 2014, are they the same file size?

I've seen it before, I think the problem was the Font was updated a long time ago.

Patchy's got it right.  what's happening is that you're using an old SIMPLEX.shx that predates the implementation of Unicode in the SHX fonts.  And Acad 'helpfully' substitures in from a default font (isoeur.ttf I think) for the missing symbol....

If yoou show a date on the simplex actually being used prior to 2004 and size of 16.2 kb, that's definitive.  Should be at least dated 2004 with a size of 17.3 kb.

(oddly enough -- 3dsmax still ships the older version of simplex in the stdplugs folder.)
