Cant access drawing file

I am unable to access a drawing file saved on a network. It says the file is already open by myself although no files are open. I can open other files with no problem. I have already restarted AutoCAD a number of the and the computer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

what happens when you copy the file to your local system, can you open this dwg in AutoCAD then?

If yes, use the windows explorer to rename to file on the server to something like *_ORIG.DWG.

When that worked you should be able to copy the local file back to the server.

If renaming the file on the server does not work you have to contact your admin.
