Can't open .dxf file exported from DIA (another CAD program). "Table name missing on line 26".

Hi,

I can't open a .dxf file exported from DIA. I have no clue what the error means. I tried editing the file with Notepad, but on line 26 there's only - LAYER.

Could somebody with more knowledge look into this further? I saw a similar post and somebody was able to fix the file with a program named QGIS I believe.

I'm attaching the dxf file.

If the DXF was created by a third-party software, check the source project for file corruption, configuration, etc. and recreate the DXF. Alternatively request the file in a different data format like DWG.

• Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded.

The source program create the problem (wrong DXF structur), ask DIA support!

That's the right way, otherwise you (and all following users) trying to fix the dxf files again and again.
