Can’t find 3D solid shell command

If I type in shell it only shows a is command option. But not the shell feature to shell solid objects. How do I get the shell function I’m using autocad 2020

Try solidedit.   Shell is a term used for operating systems commands.  It predates solid modeling.

@Anonymous  please use Solidedit command and select the shell option.

If you prefer to not type all that, there is a button for Shell (in the 3D modelling sense) in the 3D Tools tab, that's off by default in AutoCAD. Right-click on the ribbon tabs, and make sure 3D tools is checked. Youlll find Shell in the Solid Editing panel, bottom row.

If using the 3D Modelling workspace - you'll find it on the far right of the Solid Tab.
