breaking into two

hello

i have the side view of a staircase that goes about 10 floors , what i would like to do is split it in half (plus an additional 1 meter as over lap) , and put them next to each other is there a way of doing so besides xclip ??

@NERDASORUS hello, are you trying to print the dwg? you can split them in viewports in paper space without affecting the original drawing in the model space . thanks

How about model space viewports?

Can you explain why you need to do this? It may shed light on a way to do what you want better that what you've attempted to described so far.
