Blocks Palette not showing

Anonymous
Not applicable

I was inserting a block from the Blocks Palette when the palette suddenly disappeared (the block never reached the drawing).  The pallete won't show even though the corresponding Ribbon button is on.  I also tried the commands BLOCKSPALLETE AND BLOCKSPALLETECLOSE.  I also closed the program and opened it again, started a new drawing but the mystery persists.  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Accepted solution

I found it!  I noticed the left drawing area margin shifted slightly when I cycled the Blocks Palette Ribbon Button so I decided to start grabbing at the edges and pulling.  Low and behold... it came out of hiding.  I don't know how to recreate what happened but I'm good for now.  Good Day all!

I tried that, but it didn't help.  Thanks for your time.

Yea, I did something similar.

I went to the view tab.
inside the Palettes bar, I selected the Blocks Palette Enable/Disable button.
Each time  I did it I noticed a very subtle difference on the sidebar as it turned on and off.  (Right side in my case - as that's where was last before it "disappeared" )

I hovered over the right side and the expand icon appeared and as I began to stretch, low and behold my Blocks palette was there.

Drove me absolutely crazy because I tried everything I knew how. (short of resetting CAD settings/uninstall-reinstalling the program. )

Hi
Had same issue. Didnt see the display glitch
I guess this happens for thosse having multiple screenand different screen resolutions.
What I did:
I went to the display settings of windows and resized my screen to 100% (guess other settings and resolutions will work too)
And after that I saw the block palette on my other screen bottom part.

Hope it further helps as this is really a tricky issue.

If you don't see this here

You can type the command name for it

Then you might be in a year-version that does not have it.
