Block editor renames the name of the block in block edit in place

Hi 

I have an issue where every time I edit the block in place and hit save it renames the name of the block to whatever name I have + an integer. For example I had a block named "Downhill3L" and AutoCAD renamed it to "Downhill3L1"; "Downhill3L2". 

Is there a system variable causing this or?

Hi,

I suggest to check that your CAD version is full updated from your Autodesk Desktop App .

Sounds you arw using another program, like DraftSight (but then you would also ignore the warning).

I didn't know that AutoCAD does it too!?

It is a dynamic Block, BEDIT works fine, right.
