What Base Point is AutoCAD choosing if I drag objects from one draing to another with the 'Paste as Block'-option.
It's not the geometric Center of the dragged geometry, it seems to be different every time?
Thx

Nothing to do with the kind of paste, just a question of how to copy!
COPYCLIP / CTRL+C
Uses the lower/left corner of a imagine boundary rectangle
What you need is COPYBASE!
CTRL+SHIFT+C

Thx, I know the COPYBASE
but when dragging individual objects from one drawing to another (with the right buttom mouse)
AutoCAD is auto making an anonymous BLOCK, when choosing Paste a Block in the Shortmenu.
The location of the Base Point of this BLOCK in this situation, that I don't understand.
