Autocad2016 3D ''Hidden'' line problem

hi,

I am trying to use the visual style ''Hidden'' in my 3D model drawing, then I plotted in PDF. In the drawing, there are some thick black lines around ( the picture below). I would like to have the same thickness in my drawing, is there any way I can change it? Thank You.

Plotting with CTB or STB??  Visible lines lineweights in hidden views are controlled the same way they are in any other plot.

Try the following steps:

• In the layout/paperspace select your viewport
• In property window set the property "Shade Plot" to "Legacy Hidden"

Does that work better?

      after i changed the 'Legacy Hidden', the drawing is a bit different..haha.. not sure is it my process have some problem...

I would go into visual styles and for that style set Silhouette Edges show to no.

HI @Anonymous,

I suggest you eTransmit your file and it will end up in a ZIP file. You should be able to attach a fairly large one on a post without any issues.

Rather than using the visualstyle hidden, try using 2D Wireframe instead but first set DISPSILH to 1. With 2D Wireframe active  give the HIDE command.  To get better resolution for curves change the Render Object Smoothness value in Options from 0.5 to 2.0 or greater.  Then make your pdf plot.

I went into the Visual Styles Manger and selected Hidden. I scrolled down to the Silhouette Edges and changed the Show to No.

Now when I plot, all the lines are the same weight. is this what you are seeking to produce?
