Hello. I have a question about the format of the exam. Does one have the ability to access the AutoCAD program for all of the questions in the exam? For example, a multiple choice question like:
Multi-leader styles can be defined using several different blocks. Select the block style not available:
Rectangle
Slot
Hexagon

All the best,
Yes you have the flexibility to switch between exam window and AutoCAD software window during the exam. You can always switch and find the right answer to the question, but make sure that you have enough time to do this, because, during the exam, you have limited amount of time and you will need to manage your time accordingly. If you get a multiple choice question during the exam, it's better to memorize this type of information, because question which needs to open AutoCAD will obviously consume time.
What I do suggest though, is to take an exam prep boot camp. In this boot camp the instructors take you through a roadmap of the content to become a certified professional. Time management and tips and tricks of how to get some questions out of the way first and then go to questions which would require usage of software is usually very helpful.

I just took and passed the AutoCAD Certified Professional exam. AutoCAD was not available for use during the exam. There were 41 multiple choice questions, and you're given 155 minutes. I once considered looking for Calculator, but decided I could subtract 150 from 200 in my head. Doubt it was available anyway. I believe the computers in the test lab are rigged so you can ONLY access the exam software. Not sure but I think up til a few months ago, you used AutoCAD and the LIST command to find or copy/paste the correct answer. I wonder if they recently changed it to not use AutoCAD because many testing centers don't have AutoCAD, and it's far too expensive for the few applicants. I think I was the first AutoCAD exam applicant at two centers I looked into. -paul
I also gave the AutoCAD Certified Professional Exam... And what is the point in giving the exam if you can open the software and copy paste the exam...? I mean by that, you can easily pass the exam. And there is no use of such an exam.
Also, if you are giving the exam on Pearson Vue, I am 110% sure that you cannot try to even cheat in the exam. I had given a Beta exam. And by mistake my brother came in 2 times inside the room. And I was given a final warning by the proctor...😅.. And you cannot switch between the softwares too...
