Hi,

you can install a trial and see if your type of drawings work well.

1.1 GHz is much lower than the system requirements are shows as minimum requirement (2.5GHz) >>>click<<<.

That configuration also comes with a very itty-bitty harddrive more often than not: no need to cripple yourself before you even started using it.

So it's not worth it? Space isn't a problem for me

The one you are inquiring about is underpowered.
The i7 versions are more suitable for 2D production work: unless you're an "executive" that spend more time showing off powerpoints and spreadsheets all day 🙂

Hi,

Hope u can help me. 😁 I have seen many of  your reply to posts and u seem supper knowledgeable in reference to computer software and my specific topic of an CAD program working on a surface..

I UNFORTUNATELY got a Surface PRO X 😓 and just saw several of your comments that state it doesn't support that. The lady at BEST BUY said it did. 😡

So my question is which Surface will work pls. I use the CADlink for Torchmate. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!

Hi! I've also seen a bunch of your comments!

I'm also asking about the Surface Pro X but the newer version (2022), is it still the same thing where it doesn't support Autocad? I have a Macbook M2 but as you know AutoCAD on a Macbook is different than on Windows so I want to to trade for a Windows computer. The person who has the Surface Pro X was able to download AutoCAD and launch it but I haven't tried to use it so I don't know how it will work. I want to be well informed before I trade it!

Thank you so much

As long as the device you want to get is not ARM-processor based, AutoCAD for Windows will run on full 64bit WindowsOS capable hardware
