In the middle of a command autocad suddenly locks up, a white screen appears. All other computer functions are running fine, I can check my mail, look up excel spread sheets, write in teams chats, etc. the only thing is a big white screen where Autocad should be.
When I check the task manager it looks like autoCAD all other functions are running in the back ground, but Autocad it self is "not responding".
Have left it to run hoping it would come back. It nevers comes back. and I loose all work after the last save, no recovery possible as it was not a crashed file.
It appears that the freezing is during some function in the background. I can't pinpoint what function.
I loose work every time. it happens four of five times a day.
running 2005 autocad vanilla.
