Autocad is super slow when zooming in and out or when switching between model space and paper spaces

Using Autocad 2023

Already turned on cache viewport and layout.

2D wireframe as the visualdisplay

It takes several minutes to load every time.

Other files ok.

This specific file has 5 xref.

Total file size is 350Kb.

Spec: i9-11900

64 Gb Ram

NVIDIA A4000

Since there are 5 xrefs, the total file size needs to include the file sizes of each xref

Now as a test save a copy of the file and do the following on the copy:

1) unload all xrefs and see if that speedsthings up?  
2) unload 1 xref at a time and see if any speed differences as each is unloaded 

3) detach 1 xref at a time to see if there are performance differences

Which of your 5-xrefs are huge and slow? OPEN then test each one, you'll find the culprit(s) right away. More tips here
