AutoCAD - How to explode a drawing view

Hey, I need to explode a drawing view in order to make some corrections in a cut view. But I am now allowed to use command "explode". What should I do? Here are some photos to get a better idea

going by the cell phone camera pic (printscreen - save to file works too), that appears to possibly be an Inventor titleblock - which if that is the case, and this file has been saved out of Inventor as an "Inventor .dwg" file type, you will not be able to explode the view I believe. If it came out of Inventor and you need to be able to edit it in Acad, save the file out of Inventor as a "AutoCAD .dwg" file type. I'm aware there are differences between the .dwg file types that Inventor creates, I am not very familiar with the appropriate work flow concerning each different file type - other than there are some differences and I think you found one of them HTH

EXPORTLAYOUT will create a new drawing and the separate views will become blocks that can be exploded.

They are views created by VIEWBASE Actually the border can be exploded.

Rather than explode the views, why don't you change the 3d part in model space? The views will automatically be updated.

in some cases, I need the "view" exploded so I can define a 2D block in model space to make an "assembly."

Thanks

use EXPORT LAYOUT command, it will create new drawing through which you fine tune your drawing.
