I have tried everything I know to do to reduce this file, this is just one floor (18.3 MB) of seven all with similar sizes.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Alundy,

I ran a Purge, Audit, -Purge>regapps and finally an Exporttoautocad. This reduced the file size (about 15MB) a bit but you have everything exploded into individual objects.

I guess that all I can suggest is to start moving lines to layers so you can more easily determine what to keep and what to delete. I am guessing that all the wall pattern entities could be erased and would make a significant difference in file size. I would also consider removing all the wall centerlines and the inside face of gwb.

Hi,

If we turn a blind eye regarding file status !!!!!! i success to reduce file size to 1.95MB after selecting all the Hatch (was) lines and erase them by Qselect .

My advice for you is try to go back to the original file - if exist - and get one new more acceptable than this one, because i consider this file as useless CAD file.

Good Luck..Smiley Wink
