Yep, and the message you get when AutoCAD can not open the file.

And if commands _RECOVER or command _RECOVERALL do not help it might be possible that we repair your file ... when we have access to the file. Without the file and without error message (or at least a description of what behaves different to expectations) it's guessing the whole day long.
