AutoCAD Directx 11 FATAL ERROR

https://www.asus.com/sa-en/Laptops/ASUS-FX553VD/

^ This is my laptop , GTX 1050 and supports directx 12 , everytime I use directx11 autocad freezes , I switched it back to directx9 to make it work , but still , I dont get the idea why I can make it directx11 and it's been bothoring me for a while and its a new laptop why is it happening , I've downloaded the latest driver from https://www.asus.com/Laptops/ASUS-FX553VD/HelpDesk_Download/  which is the latest update for my graphics card , and still it doesnt work! , did windows update and updated the updates from autodesk but still it doesnt works , it still freezes.. had to go back to directx 9 , it is still bothoring me , but looking for an answer but I cant find any .

Freezes happens when I open another program like PhotoShop , or google chrome , etc when I switch back to autoCAD , it gives me a black screen , for a while tho I still can type there and click but it's still all black , later it closes and sends a bug report then FATAL ERROR Violating 0x0010

Hi @Anonymous,

Instead of looking at the Asus site for drivers, I suggest you try the current driver from Nvidia.

It sounds like the problem  you describe is not caused by the hardware but rather the software.

Let me know if this driver corrects the issue for you.

at first  after finishing the install , opened my autoCad and waited for a while , got a blue screen , I knew that would come cuz im using a laptop not a desktop , what I did was uninstalling the vision driver and graphics card and then I installed the graphics card update from asus website , restarted my PC and it worked like a charm , for any laptop users do this if you have the same problem , it fixed it completely

Thank you for your help , appreciate it!

With Regards.

I'm using msi gs65 8re, and was having the same problem, really made me mad even after did win10 fresh install the problem still occured (everytime the autocad finished starting up the laptop will freeze then go blue screen). Then I followed your method by uninstalled the nvidia current driver from device mngr, and then installed the latest nvidia driver only from the msi support website. voila!  finally it solved the problem!
