AutoCAD 2023 - In Paperspace, Items in Model Space Disappear

ACAD drawing created in earlier release.

Drawing with two layouts. Layout #1 works normally. However, in paperspace, Layout #2, nearly all the images in the model space viewports disappear and parts of an xref image in paperspace disappear. Images reappear with REGEN, but disappear again using other commands. In model space the file responds as expected.

Run AUDIT and see if it catches anything.

Ran AUDIT, zero errors detected.

@mvorhiesHXCNQ Share your problem DWG file(s) here for someone else to look at them.

Or just delete the problem layout and start over. Sometimes wasting time trying to find a problem takes longer than just replacing it.

I am having the same issue but I only find that it takes effect when using a polygonal viewport, is that the case for you as well? I have not found a solution as of yet.

I would guess the OP's issue is/was related to drawing size/complexity and (probably) limited graphics memory.

We don't know if @pendean's second suggestion in msg #4 was helpful or not. Is that something you can try?

What can you tell us about the DWG and your memory situation?

So far I have been able to determine that through polygonal viewports, I encounter graphical issues that appear to be very similar to OP's. Looking through rectangular viewports did not produce the issues. The only difference in properties for the polygonal and rectangular viewport is "Clipped", which is on for the polygonal viewport. This problem affects me in AutoCAD 2023 and 2024 but I do not see the issue in 2021.

As far as memory goes...have 16GB of unused memory with 25% peak graphics usage, so I don't believe it is a hardware limitation.

Redrawing the polygonal viewport did not make any difference for me.
