Hey, is there a way to limit how much RAM Autocad 2021 uses? Right now on certain files Autocad 2021 will freeze up and crash the computer. If I look at task manager while the program has frozen but before the computer has crashed - it will show that Autocad 2021 is using 99% memory. I downloaded and installed the April 26th patch to Autocad 2021 and Windows is on 20H2, the graphic card's drivers are updated as well.
The computer is a windows 10 machine with 16 GB of RAM and an SSD.

What are certain files? Are they very big, do they include complex 3D-geometry, ... ? On which files does that happen and on which files not? Can you post such an example file here please and tell us which command is running while that happens? In some cases it can be that AutoCAD needs a lot of (or nearly all available) RAM. But then it (AutoCAD) should not freeze, it will "only" work very slowly.

I do not know any way to do this.
