AutoCAD 2017 loading dwg files problem

I am having an issue whereby Autocad 2017 is open on the home screen - I cannot open numerous .dwg files whereas colleagues are able to?

The file tries to load but then closes and then takes me back to the home screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Chang the variable SDI to equal 0

Is it happen to a particular dwg file or to all of your files? Maybe the file needs to recover.

Is it possible to attach one of these files for me to examine? It sounds like the drawing needs some maintenance steps such as Purge, -purge>regapps, and audit.
