Ok, so this is still happening.
It seems like when I leave my computer for a while, and it goes into sleep mode (not sleep mode - but the hard drive sleeps - windows 7 Pro is still running), and I start back up again - it is the first drawing I open that this problem happens too.
In the 2 jpgs posted, the "problem" one is version where text are shown as flat cyan lines, the arrow heads are empty, my area "polyline" is hollowed out, and my architectural ticks on my dimensions are empty as well. When I close autocad down and restart the program again - the problem goes away.
Also, when I opened my drawing and it was buggered, I clicked on the buggered text, and changed it to annotative - it did nothing. I did a screen regen - nothing. I have to close and restart autocad.
I'll be honest - it is not the end of the world. So I close, shut down and restart - big deal! I am just posting this to see if there is a solution. If no one has an answer, and this is the worst problem I deal with in a day... it's still a good day.
Just for the sake of asking - the f2 key and the text window disappearing or getting stuck behind the autocad window. I have googled this to death - tried everything, and it still does not work. Again.....save, close, re-start - problem goes away....
I am posting the file in case a hardcore user can tell me what I am doing wrong. It only seems to be the bold text that goes wonky on me.
