AutoCAd 2016 - Fillet Radius too large

AutoCAD 2016 doesn't make a fillet in a drawing ("radius is too large"). The weird thing is that AutoCAD 2010 didn't have a problem with this fillet.

Any ideas how to resolve it?

Thank you very much.

Hi,

Reduce your fillet radius value.
You may have zoomed in too much at the time of drawing. So you're object would have less lengths compared to the radius value you are giving.

Hi,

if you open the same source file from two different autoacd then you have to get the same result.but if you insert this file to another new cad dwg file then you may have different results if the units ( m,cm,mm) was not the same.

So what is your radius set to?
And how long are the two lines you are trying to "fillet"?
That always answer this type of question.

Don't assume anything: find out the details, dig a lot deeper into the settings. AutoCAD is an unintelligent software that relies on user settings to function.

Thank you all for your responses.

I'll try what you suggested, hopefully it will work.

You may find FilletMax.lsp helpful -- available here.

But I'm curious about the assertion that an earlier version didn't have a problem but a newer one does.  Are they really starting with exactly the same conditions, and with exactly the same Fillet radius?
