File handling

Hello, I have an educator who in the past versions of autocad was able
to double click a project and it would open within the program in
tabs. Now with 2018 when opening additional files by double clicking
opens a new window of autocad and not with additional tabs. Is there a
way that he can just double click a file and each one would open in
autocad with several tabs. Thank you for your time.

Make sure the SDI variable is set to 0.

You can just type it in on the autocad command line

1. Open files from within AutoCAD.  Hint: create favorite folders in the open screen by navigating once to a folder, drag and drop, use that short cut from now on until no longer needed.

2. Drag the file and drop on the command line in AutoCAD.
