AutoCAD 2016 does not read Arabic Font with XARB-style

I have a .dwg file that contains Arabic text with “XARB” style, and this text is incorrectly viewed in AutoCAD (in the screenshot below).

I have downloaded the XARAB.shx from this link and added it to AutoCAD font directory (C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2016\Fonts). But the problem still arising.

What might be the issue here?

BUT just to remind you to check your Support File Search Path from OPTIONS>>> Files tab.

you can post just a single word as CAD drawing in case any difficulties . 🙂

I checked  the "Support File Search Path" and the fonts directory is enabled, but it does not work with me

i'm always facing this problem here and there BUT it's always work fine.
post any text parts of your drawing for more and fast help.

But the issue of the drawing for the text  is same as hani told.

Could you please describe detail steps , how you have solved the issue.

I've just copied this block of characters from the text: "Hgl,r______š", "fdhkhJ ohwm fhgl,rU"

Thers is no special procedure for what how it done . just paste shx file in FONTS folder then launch AutoCAD.

i've take your arab text from your post and there is...

May you please post a compressed version of your fonts folder so I can use it instead of mine?

Hey everybody,

We use *.shx arabic fonts in our drawings. Everything was working flawlessly in AutoCAD 2015. We could write and print (to PDF or plotter for instance). But when we try to plot or convert a drawing to PDF in AutoCAD 2016, all *.shx fonts rotate and become upside down in the PDF file ro plot result !

Can anybody help ?

The upside down plotting is a known bug in AutoCAD 2016.  It is currently being worked on.

Problem: XARB” font style incorrectly viewed on drawing.

Reason:  Missing font file XARB.shx (C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2016\Fonts)

I had seen in your screenshot you have missing font file XARB.shx (C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2016\Fonts)

But you downloaded font file XARAB.shx instead of XARB.shx You have to understand that both files are not same.

Solution: My suggestion is download XARB.shx & put it (C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2016\Fonts). Then your problem will be solved.

Note: I attached XARB.shx font

Thank you for your concern. I have seen that xrab.shx file too and already downloaded and installed it.  But unfortunately, this is not the one.
I am looking for the xarab.shx font. 
If anyone has it please, kindly share.

Yeah, I tried downloading from Google Search, and the closest one they suggested to me is this forum. Thanks for the other suggestion though.
