Attaching an X-ref to multiple layouts

Hi Guys,

Does anyone know how to attach an x-ref to multiple drawings without opening them each one by one? I seldom have to attach a stamp to the drawings that says either issued for coordination, or review, or even an engineering stamp.

We are consultants so we often work with somebody else's title block, so lack of standards is not an issue here.

Opening 40 or something drawings one by one, only to attach an x-ref with coordinates 0,0,0 takes time and also introduces the chance of error.

I would just add the stamp to the project title block XREF.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Yes, makes sense, however, some governmental standards require each title block to be a block on layout space.

Otherwise, that is how we do things.

I just found the solution.

It can be done with the use of the plugin BatchInDatabase

https://apps.autodesk.com/ACD/en/Detail/Index?id=3577998245145197101&appLang=en&os=Win32_64

It is a very versatile plugin and attaching an x ref to multiple layouts is one of it functions.
