Is there a way to automatically put certain commands on a pre assigned layers.

Such As: Hatch Command goes to the Hatch Layer, Dimensioning goes to  the Dimension

Layer, Mtext goes to the Text Layer,  even if you were working on a different Layer like

Exterior Wall Layer.

Just curious if there was a way

Hi,

>> Hatch Command goes to the Hatch Layer ...... HPLAYER (System Variable)  .

>> Dimensioning goes to  the Dimension Layer .... DIMLAYER (System Variable)  .

>> Mtext goes to the Text Layer .... TEXTLAYER (System Variable)  .  Applies to 2020.1 Update and later .

Dear Sir

Forgot to ask, if I wanted to assign future Commands to layers, where would I look

to find the assignment command

Thanks

Which future commands? Please elaborate. There is no "assignment" command, the three AutoCAD variables explained in HELP that were pointed out earlier simply move those object types to the layers you specify (not the commands themselves).

Sorry for not making myself more clear

After you answered my first question, I was just thinking

it would be nice to have Quick Leader, or angle dimension all

assigned to the dimension layer. Also the Viewport command

to the ViewPort Layer.

Or if I think of another command later (That is what I meant by "Future Command")

Thanks and Sorry for being a bother
