Architectural ticks not in solid appearance

Hello everyone, i need help. I have problem in my architectural ticks in autocad 2020. The architectural ticks is not like a solid filled rectangular that shown at the dimension pre-settings. It just appeared like rectangular lines. Is there a way to fix this issues or something that i can set in the settings? I have found out about the shortcut key such as fillmode and stuff on the forum before ( i believe the article forum posted in 2007 ), with the same issues as me. I have tried the shortcut, however it does not work at all and nothing happened.

Note : Attachment 1 : Architectural ticks with rectangle lines (not solid)

Attachment 2 : Architectural ticks with solid rectangular in pre-settings

I set the architectural ticks in larger size to ensure that people can see the differences.

Hello @Patchy ,

For the fillmode command, i just wondering when i am going to type the command? Is it like this steps?

1. type fillmode command and type 1

2. Put in dimension in certain area

Or it is something else?

Thank you for helping me in this problem.

With regards,

Madeline

Fillmode will not fill if the UCS is not PLAN.

Check to see if your dimensions are on PLAN view.

You need to be in a 2D view for the ticks to be filled:
Enter "-VIEW" at the command line, then select "O" (orthographic), then "T" (top).
