Adding custom lineweights

hi i was wondering if anyone knows how to add extra custom line weights the standard cad will go up to 2.11mm but i want to add ones upto and above 6mm, We use standard AutoCAD2018 and C3D2018

You would be using polylines for those.

You can't "add" or "remove" lineweights. BUT...you can create and edit Plot Styles if you use an STB file to control your printing. Create a new PLOT STYLE, call it something, then click on the EDIT LINEWEIGHTS button, change an existing lineweight and use that one. Unfortunately you can't add/remove lineweights, you can only change existing lineweights. So find one you don't use and change that one. This doesn't affect the lienweights in the drawing/object/layer only in the plot style you use to control the objects.

 

This is a convoluted approach but it might get you what you want?

this would be handy if I was using Black or the standard colours the issue is I use all the colour books
