Every so often, I unintentionally move objects by panning or selecting on things while working. Is there a setting to turn off "click-drag-move?"...sorry for the lack of better words.
Thank you,

Not to be confused with the system variable with the same name...

Yes. Only thing holding you back now is just trying it.
Gotter dialed in sir.
Thanks for being a huge help over the years, patrolling these forums!
Much appreciated!
So the issue is when I left click and highlight a block or object, then accidentally left click the same object and drag the mouse, the highlighted block/object will move. It is always unintentional.
What is strange is that the move does not show up in the command line?
I appreciate you bearing with me as I try to explain this.
Hi,
there are two function and the left one is the standard windows feature drag&drop.
You will find more about by searching for "DROPGEOM"
Also a code to supress this feature only (not the whole windows standards).
But I prefer: Train to use the mouse more accurate.

DROPGEOM is an interesting ability if you want to explore it

Beware of the "slow" right-click action: your 3rd party mouse driver might let you fix the issue by changing the timing for a long click (called something like minimum hold time or something like that).
