ACAD 2025 Multileader vs Block with Attribute

I am using a multileader to reference a detail on my framing plan. It consists of a detail bubble and a leader. The detail bubble contains two "attributes", detail number and sheet number. Before my use of multileaders for this function, I used a block with two attributes.
In the past, when I wanted to change sheet numbers (say, from SD-1 to SD-1.1 because I now have more than one sheet of foundation details), I would select all the blocks I wanted to change and change the sheet number attribute on all of them at the same time.
How can I do the same thing when they are multileaders and not blocks with attributes?
Thank you,

Hi,

simple answer, you can't.

But it sounds like a perfect task for dedicated programmers (preferably not beginners),

- check all mleader

- list all "attributes" or "attributes" what are present in all selected mleader

- possibility to edit..

>>"say, from SD-1 to SD-1.1 "

If all selected mleader contain the same string (SD-1), you can use FIND command.

You could use drawing properties but this would change ALL of the MLeaders unless you pointed  to a different  property (read have mulitple field references in multiple blocks).

Instead of using the multileader with block, use a dynamic block with a 2 point straight leader. This will allow you to select left and right side leader, stretch the initial leader line, and edit the change multiple selected blocks at the same time.

Below is an example of such a block in action:

When I do this and select the multileaders I want to change and execute the "find" command, I get "no matches found" message.

This is what I do for my section cuts and it works fine. I guess I can use something similar for my detail call outs.

Unless I am mistaken in what you are asking for, it appears to be working fine here.  Check your settings as seen in the video below.  (ACAD 2024.1.5)
