A Tracing program for lazer cutting.

Hi, I am new to Autocad and i hope you can help me with some advice.

I am wanting to lazer cut an image of a horse on mild steel using a DXF File. I know i can attach the image onto Autocad and manually trace using Spline and Polyline etc.

Does anyone know of a program or a process that i could use to trace the attached image for me rather than me spending lots of time manually tracing?

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

 There are bunches of apps both online and stand-alone that can "vectorize" a raster image. Some work better than others.  Can you share a sample image on a post so I can see what you are starting with?  In the mean time, you might check out Inkscape (freeware) and look at the process to find and save paths (outlines).
