Hi,

If you change CURSORBADGE (System Variable) =1 , any changes?

Also try to check CURSORTYPE (System Variable) = 0 .

BTW.. This is the first time ( as much i remember ) that i see this 3d cube next to CAD cursor!!

Is this in ALL of your files, or just this one?
What is unique about this one file? Not one of your, or you are exploring a feature?

There is no special change when you change the CURSORBADGE value to 1.
and CURSORTYPE value is 0!

It only applies to this file. I'm not sure what's special about this file...

INSERT this file into one of your own problem-free TEMPLATE files, EXPLODE, SAVEAS, give it a name, then explore it. What's different may become very apparent especially if it has content in it.

And keep an eye on the commandline the whole time (make it three-five lines tall): AutoCAD will likely tell you something you did not know as well.

That looks like the sub object selection toggle

Each of these options change the appearance of the badge

If you don't see that option it can be turned on here

Also on the ribbon
