3D Trim Problem

In the posted file I have a red and cyan entity that I cannot get to trim. The red surface needs to get trimmed by the cyan entity. The red surface is a loft created from an arc and a polyline. I'm sure i'm missing sometime simple. it doesn't matter if the final entities are surfaces or solids. Thank you  in advance.

Need to use the slice command to trim surfaces.

I see now that the SLICE command is working. Previously in my original file, I was getting a Error 111030 when I tried the trim using SLICE. I didn't see much help when I searched for help with the error. I also got a "SLICE failed for selected entity" message. Placing the entities in a separate, new file must have fixed something. Thanks for looking into my issue.

Anytime you use the slice command for surfaces they have to intersect. That might have been the issue.
