2022 Cursor Jumping

Is anyone experiencing cursor jumping in ACAD 2022? I find it happens about 50% of the time that I use stretch or move. After selecting the objects and hitting enter, and just before I pick my base point, the cursor jumps the the bottom of the screen and then instantly back. Then the command continues uninterrupted. Card is an AMD Firepro W5000 with all the latest drivers. Do not have the problem with the exact same configuration in 2021. Curious if it's a bug or if I should keep trying to track it down through video settings.

@tim.turner Turn off SNAP (F9 toggles it on/off, watch the commandline for feedback): it is only active when you are in a command.

Then if there is still no relief then set GFXDX12 variable to 0 (that's a zero) in AutoCAD/LT2022 then restart it: reverting to DirectX11 fixes the problem for most users.

Ensure you have LINESMOOTHING and LINEFADING variables turned off like you did in 2020 back in the day. Also grab and install the 2022.0.1 update that is out there.

tim.turner, by any chance are you using a 3-button mouse? Autodesk was able to duplicate my problem, but there are very specific parameters that needed to be happening for it to occur:

1) You have to be using a 3-button mouse with the middle button set as "enter". In fact, if I use the space or enter bar as opposed to the mouse click, it doesn't have the problem. Autodesk could only reproduce it when they changed to an old 3-button mouse they had hanging around.

2) For me, I had to have to have any of these 4 osnaps set as running osnaps: perpendicular, extension, tangent, or parallel. If I turned them off, the problem went away. I see that you turned off all running osnaps and it still does it, so your issue is obviously a little different from mine, even though it has a similar result.

3) It has nothing to do with hardware, settings, variables, DirectX, or anything like that, so don't waste your time changing them. Trust me, I tried everything I could find, including several suggestions from Autodesk. I was told it would be fixed in an upcoming release, probably a .1 release.

I am using a Logitech two button wheel mouse. Wheel is zoom when scrolled and pan when held, what I thought was pretty standard usage. Wheel is set to 3 line scroll and is using the Microsoft driver in Properties. The mouse I believe is less than 2 years old. You are correct that using spacebar or enter after entity selection does not create the jump, at least so far.

Thank you for filing the issue with Autodesk, I gave up a while back as most of what they wanted me to try when I did submit one required me to submit help desk requests to IT and wait since I don't have admin privileges or a dedicated time  for testing.

Same issue here during move, copy, and stretch commands

That didn't fix it for me. As I mentioned, Autodesk did replicate it and claims it should be fixed in an upcoming update.

Not only did that not solve it for me, but update 2022.1 didn't either. The contact I have at Autodesk acknowledged that they are still chasing down the source. Hopefully some of these suggestions will work for some, but for me they did not.

Maya 2022.3: Confirming this began for me today, for the first time ... have been using 2022.3 for a while and never seen it until now. Thought it might be something else than Maya until I found this thread. Scratch that. My bad! It was my Wacom pen laying on the tablet ... I'm leaving this comment as is because this is such a common classic, and there's a slim chance this may the culprit for some people experiencing the "jumping cursor" effect 🙂
