xref Hatch Transparency not displaying property in AutoCAD 2026 LT for Mac

I use hatch transparency in xref files (such as a title block) that do not display the transparency settings (such as with hatches) in the file that the xref is being referenced in. This only happens in AutoCAD LT for Mac 2026. It works fine in previous versions. Anyone else experiencing this?  See the screen shots.

I am running this on an M3 MacBook Pro.

Thanks!

Hi @davebarna ,

I cannot reproduce this problem with my drawings.

Can you share your drawing here?

If yes, then it is better to use ETRANSMIT command in master drawing to create a set of drawings and dependency files into one unit for sharing.

Hi Maxim_K (and everyone)

Attached are two files (title block with transparent solid hatches and a partial existing file with notes, lines, and graphics). Also attached is a video of what happens. I spent some time playing around with this and I can recreate it in one of two ways.  I either open an existing file or I create a new clean file, then copy and paste something from an older file into the new file.

I cannot recreate it if I make a new file in 2026, a new xref, and make new objects. It only happens after I copy and paste ANY object from a previous file into the new file. After I copy and paste anything into the new file, the xref hatches no longer show transparency. The only way for me to keep this from happening would be to recreate almost everything I have made in the last 20 years from scratch (notes, graphics, etc).

Hopefully this makes sense. Thank you for your help!

Hi @davebarna ,

This looks like a bug in 2026 version.

I can reproduce hatch transparency problem with your drawings in 2026 version (both for Mac and for Windows).

But when I open the resulting "corrupted" master drawing in 2025 version, transparency is visible in the Xref.
