hi, well i was designing something to school and i had to do a tangent with circles and lines, but when i typed TAN a message appeared and said unknown comman TAN F1 to help and i pressed F1 but i couldn´t resolve the problem. Can somebody help me? Thank´s

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi,

If you need to use tangent object snap, you need to type TAN inside some drawing or editing command when AutoCAD asks for point input.

TAN is not a command, but a command modifier - you can not use it outside a real command, such as LINE, ARC, MOVE, COPY, etc.
