Unable to extrude from an imported DXF [AutoCAD for Mac]

When I attempt to use the EXTRUDE or PRESSPULL commands, they both either don't recognize the lines or throw an error saying "Cannot sweep or extrude an object of this type." The DXF was exported from Inkscape where I drew it as an SVG. I've tried exploding the block into splines as well, but this does not work either. The SVG and .dwg I'm working with are attached.

Hi @ndesaraju ,

I exploded the block in your drawing and used JOIN command to join splines.

Then I was able to use EXTRUDE command - see attached DWG.

greetings @ndesaraju

You cannot extrude a block. That appears to be your issue. Not much else. See the tips above for how to work with your posted content.
