Hey Guys!!!!
I am using AutoCAD 2013 for Mac and I am having an issue with Tool Bars and Palletes. Every time I open the program the Tool Bars and Palettes are in different locations. I find this to be a pain in the **** as I then have to move them around to the place I want them to be.
I am using a MacBook Pro 15" and I connect to an external monitor and I want all of my Palettes on one screen and my Tool Bars and Work Space on the other.
If there is a lisp routine I can run or if there is a way to lock this in that would be great.
I think this is something I have mentioned since the inception of the new Mac version of the software. I have been a beta tester from the beginning of the new Mac versions and I was hoping that this would have been fixed or added in by now.
Please send help!!!!!
Hi,
I never have tried to work with external monitor connected to my MacBook (I wish to test, but I do not have an external display adapter 😞 ), so I can not test the issue you have with Palettes position. Maybe the problem you encountered in earlier releases of AC for Mac are still here.
I think that all settings for Palettes position are saved in ~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/roaming/AutoCAD 2013/R19.0/enu/Support/Profile.aws file.
Just for sake of interest - could you post your Profile.aws file here? (you have to compress it in order to be able to attach to the post)
I'll compare mine and yours. Before uploading file - setup your workspace as you need on two monitors and quit AutoCAD.

No 😞
Which browser do you use - in FF I also can not attach files, but in Safari - I can.
Or simply send to my email
