Version: Autocad LT 2024 Mac
Recently I just switched to Mac and I am facing this issue that my saved drawings somehow will not reflect the proper saved date but instead, it was somehow set to 1 Jan 1970.

Hi @desmond.cheong ,
Are you sure your macOS system time is set to the correct date and time?
Where you save your drawings?
If they are on a NAS - check time settings on it.

What about all other files types from other programs that you save to the same location as your DWG file, do they also reflect the 1970 default date stamp?
Hi Maxim Kanaev,
Yes, the Mac OS has the set the the actual date and time.
As for the file I save it to my Mac and then it links to Onedrive. I could not find any setting on the time setting for onedrive and I have other files that work perfectly fine hence it led me to think it would be the AutoCad LT issue somehow but I might be wrong.
Hi Pendean,
Other types of files that I work with don't have this issue. I had some Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator files that worked just fine. I do find it weird it only happens to CAD files somehow.
Hi @desmond.cheong ,
Just tried to save a drawing to OneDrive folder on my Mac and the date is correct.
Can you share the screenshot of the OneDrive folder where you save your drawing? Please set the view in Finder to "List" view, like this one:
Hi @maxim_k
Kindly refer to the screenshot below. As you can see, all the files from previous years were saved from my previous computer. When I use the template_2023 to create an additional copy for 2024, it fails to sync or save because the date has been modified.
Thank you in advance!
Hi Desmond,
Do you save this template drawing to OneDrive folder directly from AutoCAD?
Have you tried to save the template outside AutoCAD and then copy it to OneDrive folder?
Have you installed all the latest updates for OneDrive?
I think this could be OneDrive issue.

Your file failed to sync, technically it does not exist on OneDrive at the moment of the screenshot
You have a OneDrive sync problem: this has nothing to do with the AutoCAD program.
This issue is not specific to Onedrive. It is fixed in 2025.0.1 hotfix, which was just released.
@desmond.cheong I would suggest you to upgrade to 2025, and install the 2025.0.1 hotfix.
Hi @desmond.cheong I am facing the same issue. Were you able to find a fix for this?

Hi @manthanmchandak17
Yes the solution that work for me is to update it to 2025 and install the hotfix then it will resolve the problem, but those file that come with the issue you need to open and resave it after you install the hotfix for it to works.
Hope it helps!
