Mtext Equations

Hi all,

I was wondering if it was possible to write a string of Mtext like an excel equation and leverage the (Field-Objects-Object) to have the information in the equation dynamic??

ex.

Sum=(object 1 + object 2)

where object 1 is a hatch area of 300sf identified through the field function

and object 2 is a hatch area of 100sf identified through the field function

if object 1 were to change in dimensions the formula would update automatically.

Thank you

Hi @chloeleyba8NWHJ ,

This kind of complex field can be built quite simply in AutoCAD for Windows, but in AutoCAD for Mac you cannot use fields inside Formula field.

>>>HERE<<< I described a workaround for AutoCAD for Mac. You can try it.
