Hi, I downloaded Autocad 2015 in my MAC OSX and as you can see in picture below, I am missing the complete menu tool bar, so can not do anything.

I tried CMD+1 and CMD+0, but nothing happens. Please help me!!!!

Thank you

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!,

Hi Sophie,

Look at this:

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticle...

The instructions are mainly for 2013 version, so you need to replace 2013 with 2015 in appropriate places.

Hi Maxime,

Thank you for your message, I tried solution 1 & 2 proposed but dont seem to work. Not sure I am doing correctly.

It's a bit disappointing not being able to use Autocad, as I need it for my training courses.

I tried also to uninstall autocad and install it back but same issue.

Is it possible that we do a session via skype together and I share my screen.

It would really help me,

Thank you for your feedback,

sophie

Hi Sophie,

I'm not sure about Skype session now, but you can try another solution.
Create new user account with Admin privileges on your Mac in Users & Groups pane of MacOS System Preferences.
Login to this new account and start AutoCAD.
Do you have menu at place in this case?

It could be that your user profile might be corrupt if you performed a clean uninstall and reinstall and the issue is still there.

Please try creating a new profile and test AutoCAD in that new environment.

Sophie,

I just realized that you posted only a part of your display. Can you attach screenshot of the whole display of your Mac when AutoCAD is running?
You can use Shift+Cmd+3 shortcut to create such screenshot - the image will be placed on the Desktop.

Hi Maxim,
Here there the all display. As you can see the mane toolbar is missing. I
have already uninstalled and re-install Autocad on my computer but nothing
ha changed. I don't understand when you said to change my profil.
Do you mean create a new autodesk profile or admin Mac profile?
I am not keen on creating a new admin mac profile, i dont understand why it
could help.

I am not an IT expert, would really need somebody with who i can share my
screen, I was expecting autocad to be simple to install as i do usually for
other software like sketchup or photoshop.
Thank you,

sophie

Sophie,

Sorry, but you have not attached your screenshot of the whole display - I cannot see it.

I mean you need to create new user account on your Mac, not in Autodesk. This will help to login to this new "clean" account and test AutoCAD in it. I think there could be some problem with your current account which prevent AutoCAD from loading properly with all interface elements in place.

But at first I want to see your current display (whole display, including menubar)

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Alessandro,

Have you tried to create new user account on your Mac via MacOS System Preferences (Users & Groups pane), than login to this new account and launch AutoCAD?

You can also look at this topic:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/autocad-for-mac-forum/autocad-2013-for-mac-student-version-toolbar-me...

It is about AutoCAD 2013, but the trick with manual copying CUI files could help you. You just need to use appropriate file paths.

If you really have tried everything, than the only one solution I can suggest is to reformat hard drive and reinstall macOS, than install AutoCAD.
