Hello,

AutoCAD LT 2023 (MAC) on a MacBook Pro 2012.

Lines and radiuses do not align visually although they are "continuous". Radiuses seem to visually drop down by a pixel. Tried on two monitors with variable resolutions. Arc & circle smoothness value doesn't seem co have any effect either.

Thanks.

Are you telling us Windows users to stay away from Mac because of this?

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

I am sorry, are you saying this is a MAC based issue? I didn't have this issue when working on an older version of AutoCAD on a different MAC computer.

I am saying that you are in the AutoCAD for Windows forum. There's a different one for Mac.

Hi @karolis88KTZ ,

Please specify the exact Mac model you are using and macOS installed on your Mac.
Do I understand correctly that you are using an external monitor?

Is it 4K?

Hi @karolis88KTZ

I guess your graphic card is NV card. Please try to set the sysvar 2DRETAINMODE to off, it may resolve your problem.

Hi @karolis88KTZ ,

I tried to set 2DRETAINMODE=0 as suggested by @juemin.yuan on a MacBook Pro with Nvidia graphics card and that did the trick.

So no solid solution so far?

I had a trials version and it has ended, so I don't know what to do as I wanted to subscribe.

It is really bugging, when you always see a fault in your drawing. So I do not want to invest if in it if there is no solution.

@karolis88KTZ That is exactly why fully functional trial versions exist: it appears you need to seek out a better solution that meets your exact needs elsewhere.
