Help (on site) converting from Auto Cad 2008 to 2019 MAC LT

Our company switched over to full Mac in 2019.  I have been using Auto Cad 2008 for residential mechanical drawings and have kept my windows system- regrettably to our IT guy.  I am basically a Field Supervisor with minimum Cad training.  The person that set up our program is no longer available. He set up my programs with specific symbols related to what we actually use in the field.  I would like to find a local firm that could help with the transition in the MAC world and hopefully retain the customization that is currently available. I have called a 2 local companies but just got the run around, I figured due to being a single desk user.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Randall,

You already asked about migrating settings from AutoCAD for Windows to AutoCAD for Mac about one year ago:

We tried to answer your questions, but did not receive any response from you....
So for now you want to migrate custom settings from AC 2008 for Windows to AC LT 2019 for Mac, isn't it?

AutoCAD for MAC training is online (and not free) here https://www.lynda.com/AutoCAD-for-Mac-training-tutorials/1922-0.html and here https://www.linkedin.com/learning/autocad-for-mac-2019-essential-training

If you only want free, HELP in the program is a good place to start if you are self motivated to be the point guy https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad-for-mac/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/...

Your reseller may have a recommendation for a training consultant, you can find a reseller here if you don't know yours or have a reseller https://www.autodesk.com/partners/locate-a-reseller

The MAC format is not popular enough to have mass appeal nor numerous convenient training facilities/centers or roaming trainers for it sadly.
