I recently updated my Mac to OS Big Sur and I believe I have the most recent version of Autocad LT for Mac (2021) - see screenshot.
I have Helvetica Neue set as my font on the Text Styles after I found out that Helvetica wasn't plotting correctly when using bolds. It was all working fine until I installed Big Sur on my computer.
I changed the font on my text style to other standard fonts like Arial, and when plotting it still doesn't display the bold font properly.
Is there an update coming soon? How can I fix this?
Thank you

Hi Bas,
Your AutoCAD LT is not up-to-date, you need to install >>>>>2021.1 Update<<<<<<<
After installing Update, test printing again.
Hi Bas,
Yes, I can reproduce the problem with text in Bold and in Italic on my side.
Looks like this is a bug introduced with new macOS and I don't see any workaround 😞
EDIT: The workaround is to use any other Printer / Plotter installed on your Mac in macOS System Preferences instead of AutoCAD to PDF.pc3 printer. You can use Preview button to create PDF file in this case.
I am having the same issue... I recently updated my Mac and now the fonts will not plot bold or italic, has anyone found a solution ?
Hi @Anonymous
As I wrote >>>>>here<<<< this is a bug ntroduced with new macOS - Big Sur, so the problem can only be solved by the developers or by Apple.

Hi Maxim,
Thank you for your suggestion, however it’s still not working on my end. These are the plotters I used.
We are on it. Please try Maxim's workaround above before we fix it in update.
@renz2THRX , in your case, select the Brother printer, and click Preview button to create a PDF.
2021.1.1 hotfix resolved this issue. Please use the "Check for update" from "AutoCAD 2021" menu to get the hotfix.
