Dear members,

I like to draw a Hexagon in AutoDesk with all sides having the same messurements.

The hexagon must be like a pipe with a hole from beginning to the end.

Like this pic. Hexagon_1000.gif

Any help I appreciate ...

Thank you.

Welcome to Autodesk Forums!

Hi Dimaxum,

If you want a tube in a shape of hexagon, you can try to use SWEEP command to sweep two circles on a hexagon path, than subtract the tube with smaller diameter from the tube with bigger diameter.

Hello Body,

Thanks for the welcome ...

Isn't that a little to complex for just a hexagon?

I need more than just 1 hexagon, I like to fil a circel with them.

Like a pipe with filling up, attached with hexagons. Like a honeycomb.

It is that I just started to using AutoCad and honestly it's not easy to use.

I have already draw the design in Adobe Illustrator and it looks just fine, but I can't use this for 3D printing.

It is even easier - see attached DWG.

Hi Body,

YES, this is OKAY ... but how did you do it?

I was struggeling by just trying to make only 1.

Did you design it in AutoCad or Illustrator and save it as DWG?
