... and possibly to printer, but unable to test.
Look closely at the (longer) pipe runs. The edges are intermittent!
The object in question is a 3D solid. As may be seen in the screenshot, the pipe looks fine in pspace.
(I've already checked: this is not a discontinuous linetype set to a bizarrely large scale. Also played with various plot styles & settings).
Hm, yes.
I suppose, in my hurry to post, I did not consider that this was a thing Mac would do that Windows could not.
Should I just copy-and-paste it there? —or may we move it?
You may try to increase Raster image resolution in AutoCAD PDF printer:
(see attached)
it should be better, but the result still will not be ideal.
Thank you!
Upping both to 4800 pixels must have done something, because now it takes a full 20 seconds to generate the PDF preview. The edges in question, however, are still missing.
Maybe I am going about this wrong. Once I have created a model which I am happy with, and want to share a particular with a client, what is the best way to export? Take a screenshot? Invite them over for tea?
As I wrote before, "the result still will not be ideal". And it is "as designed".
If you need shaded (rendered) high quality view, you may also try to create hi-res rendering here:
